Sechel Ventures Presents: 2nd Annual NursingColleges.com $2,500 Scholarship (2026)

Congratulations to Eboni Lee of Chamberlain University, the winner of 2025’s scholarship! In 2024, Nakisha Dyson—now a graduate of St. Ambrose University’s BSN program—was awarded the first annual NursingColleges.com scholarship from Sechel Ventures!

The employment of registered nurses is projected to grow 6 percent from 2025 to 2035, double the expected average for all occupations in the same period. For nurse practitioners, this figure is a stunning 41 percent, making it the fastest-growing profession in the country and the fastest-growing job in healthcare. And as the vast Baby Boomer generation ages, the need for specialized nursing professionals becomes even more critical.

At NursingColleges.com, we envision a future where every nursing student and professional can access the resources, guidance, and support they need to excel.

That’s why we’re offering a $2,500 scholarship to talented students.

Whether you’re keen on clinical practice, nursing education, or specialized care, we want to invest in your future.

Eligibility and Deadline:

The deadline was September 15, 2026. We appreciate your patience as we consider these talented applicants. We will notify the winner by October 31, 2026.

How to Apply:

To be considered for the scholarship, candidates were asked to cover the following in the application form:

  1. Why are you passionate about nursing?
  2. How will your particular university and area of study help you achieve your nursing goals?
  3. What are the biggest challenges of attending nursing school?
  4. What are the most rewarding aspects of getting your nursing degree?
  5. Tell us about the most formative experience you’ve had attending nursing school.
